West Brom will be even stronger after the international break with one key man returning says Alex Palmer.
Carlos Corberan has got his Baggies side on fire this season as they sit in seventh place just one outside of the playoff positions.
This achievement is down mainly to his side’s impressive defensive performances as Albion boasts the joint second-best record in the Championship.
Golden glove front-runner Alex Palmer has been immense and the magnitude of defensive options at Carlos Corberan’s disposal has allowed him to refresh the side constantly.
Due to the impressive nature of West Brom’s displays, many have already lumped them into the playoff-chasing group, exactly where they belong to be.
However, the general feeling is that The Baggies are just getting started this season, with injuries and takeover situations all set to be resolved sooner.
Now, shot-stopper Palmer has shared his verdict on how West Brom will continue to improve following the break.

Palmer excited for returns
Speaking with Birmingham Live, Palmer emphasised the importance of having a fully fit team.
“The more often we can have a fully fit squad, the more chances we’ve got,” Palmer said.
“Even with those injuries we’ve had massive impacts off the bench. We have quality players right through the squad, so whoever starts and whoever is on the bench, you can impact the game.”
Palmer then concluded by naming the key player he is delighted to see nearing a return.
“The gaffer is massive on that. Having those guys back now, hopefully [Daryl] Dike in a few weeks, it’s only going to make the team stronger.”
West Brom will only get better this season
The sub-heading here might seem like a ridiculous statement however it couldn’t be more true. So far this season Albion have had to persist with constant takeover talk and multiple injuries.
But with both of these factors expected to subside in the coming weeks, West Brom and Corberan could finally be about to see improvements.
Dike is expected to return imminently with John Swift also on the cards to return. An exciting time to be watching the Baggies, we can’t wait to see how the rest of the season goes.
