West Brom are believed to be keen on signing League One high flyer Kwame Poku from Peterborough United.
West Brom have enjoyed a strong start to the season under the expert tutelage of Carlos Corberan who has done so many things well at The Hawthorns.
However, one common belief is that the Baggies are more impressive in defence than in attack. The defensive options Corberan has are excellent which makes it easy for Albion to be solid.
Alex Palmer has been excellent in goal and currently holds the lead in the Golden Glove race.
But if West Brom are able to improve offensively, they could be in an even better position to secure playoff football this season.

Carlton Palmer says Poku is perfect for Corberan
With attacking targets in mind, Carlton Palmer has suggested, while speaking with Football League World, that Kwame Poku could be the ideal signing.
“Poku has registered six goals and six assists so far this season for the League One outfit, and he is only 22 and can play through the middle and down either flank.
“Carlos Corberan likes players who are versatile and can play different positions, with Daryl Dike still struggling for consistent fitness and games.
“I think Carlos is looking for other options should the proposed takeover take place, as he looks to strengthen his squad to push on for a play-off place or even automatic promotion.”
Why Poku is perfect for West Brom
The main reason Poku could be absolutely perfect for what Corberan needs is his versatility, as mentioned by Palmer.
The 22-year-old can play across the frontline and in the number 10 position. To great success this season with seven goals and seven assists in 22 appearances across all competitions according to Transfermarkt.
If West Brom do want to get Poku in, they’ll have to move fast as interest is believed to be high with multiple Championship sides keen.
This could be the boost Albion need to starting attacking as well as they defend.
