West Brom host Rotherham United in the Championship on Wednesday night.

West Brom welcome a recently-relegated Rotherham United to The Hawthorns on Wednesday night, as the Baggies look to cement their place in the top six.

Currently, Carlos Corberan‘s side sit in 5th place of the Championship table and have lost just one of their last 13.

But West Brom have now drawn their last three, letting slip a two-goal lead in their last outing vs Stoke City.

Rotherham United have won just one league game in 2024 and were relegated to League One last weekend, following a 1-0 defeat at home to Plymouth Argyle.

As ever, Corberan has his share of injured first-team players to contend without.

West Brom have three players out for the rest of the season; Daryl Dike after he ruptured his Achilles for a second time, Martin Kelly, and midfielder Jayson Molumby.

Josh Maja remains doubtful as he recovers from an ankle injury.

The likes of Matt Phillips may be pushing for a return to the XI after making his return in recent fixtures, whilst the impressive Yann M’Vila may be pushing for a first ever start since arriving as a free agent.

Rotherham is definitely a potential banana skin for West Brom.

Arguably, the Millers would’ve been an easier opponent if they were still mathematically in the Championship; now they’re relegated, they can play without fear.

Boss Leam Richardson will surely be keen to set the tone for next season with some positive performances in the remainder of this campaign.

And he’ll surely set up to frustrate and counter West Brom, though with so much more quality than the opposition, Corberan will still be expecting nothing less than a win here.

We should see a mostly unchanged line up with Cedric Kipre keeping his place in the XI after returning vs Stoke.

M’Vila could certainly be pushing for a start, though displacing one of Okay Yokuslu or Alex Mowatt will prove difficult.

Jed Wallace could be one who makes way with John Swift an option to come in for the ex-Millwall man, whilst Brandon Thomas-Asante could be rested for Andi Weimann ahead of a crucial run-in.
