Carlos Corberan has been warned that Nathaniel Chalobah could be fuming after being left out of Saturday’s win against Hull.
West Brom may have beaten Hull City on Saturday however it has been suggested that his team selection will have caused some grievance with Nathaniel Chalobah.
Carlos Corberan selected a two-man midfield opposed to the three which has become commonplace for the Hawthorns side.
This will have disappointed Chalobah who has been in good form this season, however, it also goes to show how versatile Corberan is.
It is a decision which won’t have pleased the midfielder however no matter which way it’s spun.

Chalobah won’t be happy
According to West Brom journalist Jonny Drury, nobody is safe from Corberan’s rotations and tactical tweaks.
Speaking on The Baggies Broadcast podcast, Drury spoke about the £20k-per-week player Chalobah being left out.
“If you’re Nathaniel Chalobah on Saturday you’re probably tearing your hair out, thinking ‘what else can I do?’. It shows that with Corberan, no one is safe, his selections aren’t safe on form, it’s all horses for courses and how can we attack teams in different ways.”
Corberan doesn’t need to explain himself
While Chalobah will be disappointed and for good reason, Corberan has put himself in a position which allows him to make these decisions.
Three wins on the bounce sees West Brom now in fifth, which shows that even if unpopular, Corberan’s decisions are paying off.
We have no doubt that the system will once again change and Chalobah will be back in the team come Saturday at 3 pm.
The fact the system can change so often just goes to show how excellent a tactician Corberan is.
