Carlos Corberan could be set for a boost over the international break with the return of two key players to the West Brom side.
West Brom have been quietly having a brilliant season in the Championship under Carlos Corberan.
Sitting in fifth, they are right in there amongst those who are led by Leeds United in trying to catch Ipswich and Leicester.
This has been happening despite uncertainty in the club’s ownership as West Brom takeover talks continue.
Along with this has been something of an injury crisis for Albion with several first-team players struggling at various points through the season. But they’re now set for a boost.

West Brom set for injury boost
Joseph Chapman reported for Birmingham Live that West Brom could see two-star players return after next week’s international break.
He reports: “West Brom boss Carlos Corberan is optimistic that he’ll have both Josh Maja and John Swift back shortly after the resumption of the Championship calendar following the forthcoming international break.
“Albion have been without Maja since September, when he damaged ankle ligaments at Bristol City, while top scorer Swift has been out since last month with a thigh injury picked up at Birmingham City.”
Alongside these two, Daryl Dike has also been tipped as nearing a return as he featured in training yesterday.
Baggies set for key returns at the right time
West Brom will be excited for the return of Swift who is the club’s top scorer this season.
Six goals already and a player whose return will be welcomed by Corberan and also fans.
Maja is the other who is expected to return and he likely will face stiff competition from Brandon Thomas-Asante and in the not-too-far future Dike too.
