West Brom host Blackburn Rovers in the Championship tomorrow afternoon.

West Brom return to league duties after a 4-1 win over non-league Aldershot Town in the FA Cup last weekend.

The game saw the return of Daryl Dike and the introduction of a handful of youngsters, including Fenton Heard.

Carlos Corberan has seen his side hit an inconsistent run of form in the league with the Baggies winning three of their last eight but losing four of those.

Last time out in the Championship, West Brom lost 1-0 at Swansea City; the Baggies remain in 5th place of the table but are now six points behind Leeds United in 4th and 13 points behind Ipswich Town in 2nd.

West Brom team news for Blackburn Rovers

Dike’s return is a timely one for West Brom who remain without Josh Maja, who’s sidelined for a few more months with an ankle injury.

But Corberan said ahead of this weekend that Dike is not yet ready to start in the Championship and so expect the American to start on the bench tomorrow.

Elsewhere, West Brom are without Semi Ajayi and Grady Diangana who are both competing in AFCON, whilst Express & Star say that Jed Wallace is a doubt.

Matt Phillips remains a long-term absentee.

How will Carlos Corberan line up on Saturday?

Options are very thin on the ground for West Brom who have seen Jeremy Sarmiento head to Ipswich Town this month, with no incoming players.

Expect younger players to start to integrate with the first-team this month as Corberan struggles for options; the likes of Tom Fellows could play a key role over the next few weeks.

We should however see a largely unchanged line up from the side vs Swansea; although West Brom didn’t play too well on the day, Corberan doesn’t have much quality to rotate his side with.

Diangana will obviously need replacing in the XI and that could mean a rare start for Adam Reach; it would be his first since returning from injury.

Elsewhere, John Swift could return to the XI in a number 10 role, in place of Jayson Molumby who has started the last two league games for West Brom, but without recording a goal contribution.

Here’s how we think the Baggies will line up vs Swansea City tomorrow…
