The January transfer window is less than two months away, and already rumours of potential comings and goings at West Brom are circulating.

The summer was a tough one for West Brom. Their financial problems were laid bare and the club were limited in who they could bring in.

There seemed to be an emphasis on player sales but only Dara O’Shea left, though January could see a few more of Carlos Corberan‘s men put up for sale.

Despite that, there’s rumours linking West Brom with a number of potential new signings in the winter…

Baggies eyeing Brereton Diaz

A report from TEAMtalk last week claimed that West Brom were among the sides eyeing a January swoop for former Blackburn Rovers man Ben Brereton Diaz.

The Chilean international is now plating for Villarreal but life in Spain isn’t going to plan for the 24-year-old, who’s yet to score in nine La Liga appearances for his new club.

The Baggies have been linked with another international player in Callum Styles.

The Hungarian international plays for Barnsley in League One and recent reports suggested that West Brom had an interest.

Styles is a left-sided wing-back and has often been linked with a move away from Oakwell, where he surprisingly remained after a spell on loan at Millwall last time round.

West Brom want Tolkin

Elsewhere, reports coming out of the US have suggested that West Brom have an eye on New York Red Bulls left-back John Tolkin.

The 21-year-old also has interest from elsewhere in Europe with Red Bull Leipzig also looking to bring him in in the New Year.

Tom Fellows garnering interest

The only rumour player exit ahead of January is that of Tom Fellows.

Fellows is a West Brom academy graduate and he’s made six substitute appearances in the Championship this season.

But it’s claimed that Leicester City and Southampton are both keen, with interest coming from Germany too with Fellows currently out of contract next summer.

It’s said that the Baggies are keen on extend his stay beyond next year.
