Alex Palmer has been labelled ‘enormous’ after a seriously impressive few weeks between the West Brom sticks at the Hawthorns.
27-year-old Alex Palmer has been really impressive for the Baggies over the last few weeks.
His poor start to the season has been forgiven after he developed and reached new heights recently.
His form has coincided with West Brom also improving, with the goalkeeper having some key moments which have been vital, which will have left Corberan delighted that a summer deal to Luton collapsed.
Now, Palmer has been praised by Baggies journalist Joseph Champman for his recent form.

Palmer impressive
Writing on Birmingham Live, Chapman was raving about Palmer while also insisting West Brom can be confident ahead of a busy month ahead.
“Alex Palmer might’ve been forgiven for a slow start after all that speculation surrounding him in the summer, but he’s gone to another level since the middle of September – he’s rediscovered his best form and has made some enormous contributions to preserve that record.
“Albion do sort of need to puff their chest out and realise nobody wants to play them, as daunting as the fixture list currently looks.”
Stats this season show how class he has been
Palmer has played 14 games this season for the Baggies and in that time he has kept seven clean sheets according to FBRef.
He has been huge in the goal with a 69.2 per cent save percentage which is a very impressive figure from 39 shots on target faced.
He is leading the race in the golden glove race, and could be on course at this rate for 23 clean sheets across the season.
Very impressive from Palmer and as long as he keeps this up, the Baggies should continue to impress.
