West Brom head to Middlesbrough in the Championship this weekend.

West Brom make the trip to the north-east to face Michael Carrick’s Middlesbrough on Saturday, in what promises to be another tough outing for Carlos Corberan‘s side.

The Baggies drew at home to a managerless Stoke City last time out, following a win at Rotherham United which ended a two-game losing streak in the Championship.

West Brom sit in 5th compared to Boro in 13th, who ended a three-game losing streak with a 2-1 win away at Swansea City last time out.

West Brom team news for Middlesbrough

As ever, Corberan has a few injuries to contend with right now.

Daryl Dike remains sidelined along with the likes of Martin Kelly, whilst Josh Maja and Matt Phillips are out for an extended period of time.

The pair have recently picked up injuries and both are on the sidelined for the next three to four months, in two huge blows for the Baggies.

How will Carlos Corberan line up tomorrow?

Given injuries to key players, and a lack of depth in other areas, we may not see too many changes to the West Brom XI from the last game.

One change we could see though is Pipa coming in at left-back for Conor Townsend, who’s struggled for consistency in the last few games, making some key errors as he did for Leicester City’s equaliser earlier in the month.

Pipa has only started one game this season, but he’s come off the bench in the last three now which could suggest he’s coming into Corberan’s thinking more.

Elsewhere, Kyle Bartley and Cedric Kipre should continue their string partnership at the back with Darnell Furlong on the right.

Brandon Thomas-Asante, being the only available striker right now, should start, but we could see Reyes Cleary involved in a math day squad as Corberan gears up for some big AFCON losses next month.
