West Brom have a chance to bounce back from Friday night’s defeat to Southampton quickly on Tuesday.
The Baggies slipped to a 2-0 defeat to Saints over the weekend, that means they are now 17 points adrift of the automatic promotion places in the Championship table.
They do though, have a game in hand on 2nd place Leeds United. That comes this evening, when Carlos Corberan takes his side to Home Park to face Plymouth Argyle.
Their hosts have been strong at home this season, taking 28 of their 37 points on their own turf.
However, it appears West Brom have now been given a selection boost of their own ahead of that game with the Pilgrims.
Andi Weimann back for West Brom
One player who West Brom were unable to call upon for that clash with Southampton on Friday night, was Andi Weimann.
The striker had been named on the bench for that clash with the Saints, but remained an unused substitute for the Baggies.
Now, Express and Star journalist Matt Maher has reported that although he had been named on the bench for West Brom in that game, he was in fact not well enough to take part, missing out through illness.
However, Weimann is now said to be in contention to feature once again, when it comes to Tuesday’s trip to Plymouth Argyle.

Andi Weimann return a welcome one for Baggies
It will no doubt be a big boost for West Brom to have Weimann back fit and available against Plymouth Argyle.
Since joining on loan from Bristol City in the January transfer, the Austrian has made a positive impact for Corberan’s side.
Weimann has scored two goals and provided one assist in just four games since he made his move to The Hawthorns.
West Brom are arguably somewhat short on attacking options right now. As a result, having someone such as Weimann, who is making an impact in front of goal, will be a lift for their prospects in that position going into this one.
That could make this a more winnable game, which will be important for the Baggies as they look to maintain momentum in the race for a play-off place at the very least.
As a result, this could well prove to be an important piece of team news for West Brom ahead of the long trip south, and it will be interesting to see how Corberan uses Weimann at Home Park.
