West Brom have a chance to further strengthen their place in the Championship play-off places on Wednesday night.
The Baggies make the trip to Loftus Road, where they are set to face a resurgent QPR.
Their hosts have each of their last three games. The latest of those was an eye-catching 2-1 winaway at league leaders Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
As a result, they are now 20th in the Championship table. However, they are still only outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
West Brom themselves go into this one in decent form, following their 2-1 win over Coventry City at The Hawthorns on Friday.
That means Carlos Corberan‘s side have won four and lost just once in their last seven games. With that run, the Baggies go into this one 5th in the Championship table, four points clear of 7th in the race for the play-offs.
However, at least one pundit believes they will find it hard to take all three points back with them from Loftus Road.
David Prutton makes West Brom v QPR prediction
Following their win over Leicester City last time out, David Prutton believes QPR will be on a high going into this one.
He is however, also aware of the attacking abilities West Brom possess. That is perhaps best exemplified through in form Celtic loanee Mikey Johnston.
As a result, Prutton is unable to pick a winner from the two sides going into this match.
Writing about the game in his regular predictions column for Sky Sports, the former Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday midfielder said:
“QPR have won three on the bounce, but this is nowhere near job done yet. What a result at Leicester it was for them, though. If that doesn’t give them that extra lift to really push on out of trouble then nothing will.
“West Brom were really good in that win over Coventry on Friday night. They have so much threat, and in Mikey Johnston they have got a real star for the rest of the season. But with QPR in such good nick, I do feel this will be spoils shared.”
As a result, Prutton is predicting this match to end in a 2-2 draw.

Draw would leave mixed feelings for the Baggies
There would no doubt be positives and negatives to take from a result such as this for West Brom.
On the one hand, this would look like an opportunity missed for the Baggies, when looking at the current Championship table.
Indeed, only taking a point here could also open the door for the chasing pack to close the gap in the race for the play-offs.
However, QPR showed with that win at Leicester City at the weekend, that they can beat even the very best in the division.
As a result, a point could be a respectable result for West Brom, especially given their away form has not always been the strongest this season.
Either way, it does seem as though we are all set for an entertaining encounter at Loftus Road.
